Teachers Meeting: Today at 5:20 pm. All teachers and substitutes are encouraged to meet for this yearly meeting.
Pastors’ Fellowship: August 4, 2008 at 2 pm. This month’s fellowship will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Leesburg where Pastor Bruce Smith is filling the pulpit.
Men’s Meeting: Monday, August 11, 2008 at 7 pm. The food will be provided by Marcus, Charles, Gene and James. Our guest speaker will be teacher Bob Lamb from Eastside Baptist Church.
Women’s Meeting: Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 7pm. All ladies are invited and bring finger-foods. Wanda will share the program later.
Sunday School Promotion: Sunday, August 31, 2008. We will recognize the children and youth with 80% attendance this past year. We will also introduce the teachers and the age group classes beginning Sunday, Sept 7, 2008.
Door Hanger Visitation: We are waiting on our door hangers to come in so we can start our visitation program. I have found out that the no solicitation or peddling ordinance is usually not enforced against mainline churches who the city considers as “canvassing.”
